A love it or hate it series. As someone who read the books before the films I can say that it is one of those cases where the books are better, but even then they’re not someone truly amazing that I would go out of my way to read a hundred times over. Personally, I found this to be the best in the series. There is more to this than the others, so much so that I wasn’t as put off by the writing style as I had been with the other ones. There are still the clichés within it that are present throughout the other books, but this one certainly puts more forward than the others.

I am 17 and male. I appreciate Stephenie Meyer's amazing 'twilight' trilogy. I know that these books are mainly read by girls. But I was convinced to read them by looking at the covers, however. I am extremely dissapointed in 'eclipse' for it has an obnoxious ending. Twilight is ok, new moon was an improvement and eclipse was just a downfall. Many times I found myself forcing my lips to carry on and endure most chapters, oh well. Let's just hope 'Breaking Dawn' will reedem it's previous books....

i hate to be the party crasher but i didn't like this book as much as the 1st which was brilliant!!!!!!!!!!! even though stephanie Meyer again writes a wonderful book, i didn't like how the story turned. not that i don't suggest you read it. it just might be a bit heart crushing if your an ardent supporter of bella and edwards relationship. i know it was for me anyway. it does compensate in the end though and has left me desperate to read the next book.
