The Lotus War trilogy brings the PAIN! It is not your typical YA fantasy trilogy so if you are looking for that turn back now. I especially like it when fiction that takes you to the darker side of life and they do it perfectly, they are dark and delicious . These books were a masterpiece of fantasy fiction in that they made you feel so much and Endsigner was the coup de grace.
