“A Heartfelt Must Read”
(Paperback)
Endure hit me hard in the best way. Nathaniel Max talks about mental health with such honesty. It's real, not dressed up, like he’s saying what a lot of us feel but can’t say out loud. What has really stuck with me is how he remembers Mazie. She’s not just a memory in the background. She’s present, almost woven through the pages. You feel her light her love, and how carrying her forward shapes everything. It’s such a beautiful way to show that honouring someone isn’t about letting go, it’s about holding them close while you keep living.
And in the middle of all that, Nathaniel reminds you it’s okay to just be you. Flaws, fears, all of it. This book is a must-read for anyone carrying heavy stuff, whether it’s mental health struggles, being trans or LGBTQ+, grieving someone you love, or just trying to figure out who you are. Endure doesn’t give easy answers, but it makes you feel seen and reminds you you’re not alone.
