A book with everything you need, get it as it's truly the best!

Containing the finest explanations and worked examples I could find in any text book during my studies, it is rare for a text book to be as easily accessible and clearly laid out. A brilliant tool for any aspiring engineer, mathematician or physicist and thanks to a healthy dose of the odd historical reference to a mathematician's work, it sets the context of the maths so that even the laymen and less mathematically literate can find their way. Complete with final answers to all exercises and - if i remember correctly - worked solutions to all or most exercises on the author's website.

Bought this book for my course and its been brilliant! Its excellently written, the layout is really clear and helpful with lots of worked examples and practice questions. I'd also really recommend Kuldeep's website: mathsforall Which had loads of extra material and passed paper questions to help improve your maths and exams skills. The site even has a link to solutions for everything in the book!
