“A Parody of Faust with that Pratchett wit!”
(Hardback)
by Rebecca at East Kilbride
Welcome to the 4th installment of the Unseen University collection from Prachett's Discworld series, and Rincewind has gotten himself in another predicament (surprise, surprise) this time with a teenage demonology hacker. Following a bunch of rituals and much magicky looking stuff, young Eric Thursley hoped to summon a Demon to do his bidding and grant him his 3 carefully planned wishes. Unfortunately he seems to have dragged the Discworld's worst wizard through the Dungeon Dimensions and into his casting circle instead. Rincewind is off on another blundering adventure, and his luggage is never far behind... This is the shortest of the Discworld series but still immensely enjoyable and fun, a play of the story of Faust with all the flavour of Pratchett's wit and wisdom.
“All hail the Luggage”
(Hardback)
by Grace At Birmingham
I believe this is the shortest book in the Discworld series. Faust reimagined with Rincewind. Short and fun. And the luggage does a lot of squishing and rampaging.
