As with D E White’s other titles, I was hooked from the first chapter. The further I got into the book, the more I wanted to know the outcome. A great read full of twists and turns that will keep you on your toes wanting to know how it all ends.

This was a fascinating story of mistakes that a group of young women made when they were younger, that came back to haunt them. Well structured story and when things started to change it happened very quickly. Great conclusion.

When Alexandra was a student she lived with her friend Lana. Something happened at a party 20 years ago. Alexandra buried the events to move forward with her life. She finished her degree, got married and had 2 children and started her own business. She happily married and enjoying the life she as built. Then she is called up for Jury service. Loved this book from start to finish.

Alexandra’s life was all she had hoped for: a loving husband, two perfect children, and a thriving business. Then, one morning, she found a folded origami bird lying on her kitchen table. Someone from her past had found her, someone who knew her nickname was Birdie, and was about to ruin her peaceful life. Her thoughts went back to the fateful night and the exclusive party she attended, where three girls died at the hands of some of the country’s most powerful men. Alexandra knew who was responsible for their death, and the origami bird was a warning. Should she reveal the names of the killers, her peaceful life would be destroyed, and she could be the next victim.

This is the second book by this author I have read and enjoyed. A very interesting plot with plenty of intrigue to keep the reader gripped.
