Revolving around three generations of women, this is a fabulous book which deals beautifully with themes of second chances, love, forgiveness, and family secrets. It was an immensely satisfying read whose depth and poignancy quite took me and my heart by surprise. Not an author I’m very familiar with but one whose work I will be reading again.

A very moving story of the secrets that we keep closest to our hearts. Mother, daughter and grandmother all tell their perspectives and it's heart warming, yet quite sad. The similarities in their struggles works well with their eventual bonding. I'll admit to feeling quite emotional in the last part of this book - it is very nicely written.
