Having watched the tv series and being disappointed at it's premature end, I read this book in the hope of answering some of the questions left unanswered by the serial. There are enough similarities and enough differences to the Tv to make this both an enlightening read and a refreshing one. It answered several questions and stood as a story in it's own right. A good read.
