Reviews: Flesh And Blood (1)
“Flesh and Blood”
(Paperback)
A pretty good run-of-the-mill thriller with plenty of twists, turns and red herrings to keep you guessing and second guessing. I struggled to connect with Alex Delaware in this book, especially as he'd only met Lauren twice yet he goes on a crusade to find her killer, which I never quite got my head around. The characters are all well written although I would have liked to see more of Milo, I love his dry wit and humour and Kellerman does keep you guessing until the end about who dunnit. But overall the book seemed to lack a little something that I can't put my finger on, whether it's because I didn't connect with Alex or if it was something else I don't know. Still a pretty good read all the same though.
