“Excellent”

Had me hooked! After reading all Karin Slaughter's Grant County books, I am really enjoying the contrast with her new characters Will Trent and Faith Mitchell, and the different dynamic between them keeps things fresh. Can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series.

a very good read, not one dull moment.

This is an enjoyable relatively well paced thriller that alternates between the views of Will Trent, a dyslexic special agent, and Faith Mitchell, a local detective whose has quite the grudge against Trent, as they try and work together to solve a brutal murder and kidnapping. The story is easy to follow but still twists and turns enough to keep you interested throughout. The interplay between Trent and Mitchell is an added twist that is enjoyable at first but does become a little too much by the end as does the slight attitude that Trent has about his dyslexia. Having said that though it is a good read, you just have to set aside these little annoyances.
