“A swoony Christmas romance!”
(Paperback)
I absolutely loved Good Spirits! Grumpy ghost of Christmas Past Nolan is here to show Harriet the error of her ways, but it seems she's not the bad seed Nolan was expecting. Instead she's a breath of fresh air, and seems to be bringing Nolan back to life... Themes include opposites attract, grumpy and sunshine, magical realism, swoony warm romance, Christmas joy, learning to love your own authentic self. My new favourite Christmas romance! Thank you to the publisher for sending me a copy.
“Absolutely adorable!!”
(Paperback)
This was the cutest book ever!!
Harriet is the sweetest person to ever exist, she's incredibly kind and loyal and the biggest people-pleaser ever. She doesn't have a single bad bone in her body. Nolan is the ghost of christmas past, his job is to help show the not so nice people the error of their ways in time for christmas. He seems all too sick and tired of his job until he gets assigned to Harriet, She's literally the nicest person to ever exist, so why has he been sent to haunt her?
This was such an incredibly fun book. Firstly, yet again I am obsessed with BK Borison's characters. The building of their relationship, the natural PERFECT flow of their conversations filled with sarcasm and banter and fun - I absolutely ADORED Harriet and Nolan, it was so difficult to put this book down. The overarching plot of trying to figure out why exactly Harriet had been assigned to Nolan was so interesting and the blossoming of their relationship - the growing tension and realisation of what they felt for each other was perrrrrfect!!
Another amazing book from BK Borison truly cementing her as one of my favourite romance writers!
“Magic in written form!!!”

I already know that everyone will be sick of me because I’ll be talking about this book until it’s released and for a good while after that.
Everyone, and I mean everyone I know, reader or not, will be getting this book as a Christmas present.
This book has everything:

Emotional damage – check, check and check
What more could you ask for?
''Good Spirits'' is the kind of story that wraps itself around your heart and stays there. It’s tender, heartfelt, and brimming with warmth in every scene. The emotional beats are so well done, raw in places, comforting in others, but always sincere. The chemistry between the characters is electric, the vulnerability is palpable, and the love story unfolds like a soft snowfall: quietly, beautifully, and all at once.
I cried myself to sleep because of how beautiful and magical this book was. It felt like being caught in one of Harriet's snow globes from her antiques shop: sparkling, heart-fluttering and just a little bit unreal in the most delightful way. The romance had that fairy-tale charm that makes you want to twirl around in twinkle lights and believe in Christmas miracles.
I don’t know what kind of magic B.K. Borison has access to, but she always gives us the most gorgeous, warm, and precious stories. The kind you want to tuck close to your soul and never let go.
''Good Spirits'' is a gift! And I’m so grateful to HQ and NetGalley for letting me unwrap it a little early!!

“Ohh how I loved this book!”
(Paperback)
It was all I expected from a festive read and more. Honestly it has been ages since I enjoyed a romance story this much. As a huge fan of A Christmas Carol I was a bit afraid that I will be biased and bothered by some references but it was quite the opposite which only made me love the story even more.
This book is tender, relatable and brutally real. It even made me cry which is very rare in my case. Just think life lessons, self discovery and a whole lot of growth. Hands down my favourite B.K. Borison book so far!!
While usually annoyed by the "sunshine" heroines I adored Harriet which again really connected to how natural and real the character felt. I usually tend to favourite the guy in a romance but this time I was all rooting for Harriet. I mean don't get me wrong...Nolan was perfection still!!
Ohh and another proof to the author's gift of creating characters...how I hated the mother, oh dear:))) I mean we grew up seeing some wicked moms in Disney movies but this mom...top of the worst so well done. Also, I loved the twisty part with the aunt and the cat, really did not see those coming.
So if you love festive reads than I recommend this one with all my heart as it does not disappoint.
*Thank you so much NetGalley and HQ for the gifted copy in exchange of my honest review!
