Loving this book series! So glad I found it, once you get reading you can't put it down and this book is no different!

James patterson at his bes writing the finest page turner in my opinion. I enjoy reading his books they're great to read anywhere like for example on vacation and lying on the beach soaking up the sun. I recommend his books to anyone who loves to read a great thriller.

Haunted is the tenth book in the Michael Bennett series and the reader finally gets to see the Bennett family on a vacation. In this book we get to see Bennett react like any father where his children are concerned. One if Bennett’s children has been arrested for dealing drugs and the DA’s office is looking to make an example of the child and sends him to prison. At the same time Bennett is leading an investigation into the death of a student. Once Bennett has cleared up the case, he and Mary Catherine decide to take the children away on a vacation after what has been a testing time for the them all. They take the children away along with Seamus who is recovering from a heart attack but still remains feisty. They head for a vacation home by the side of a lake in Linewiler, Maine. Bennett’s former partner, Sandy Coles, is in the local police department and she asks for a favour. Bennett finds that it does not matter how far away you are from New York everywhere has the same problems. When two teenagers go missing Bennett helps Cole with the search and when they are discovered murdered, he knows she will need his help. The whole town of Linewiler is in uproar over the deaths. Bennett also discovers that this small town has a heroin problem like any other place across America. An enjoyable read.
