Reviews: Hidden Treasures (3)
“Wonderful Reading !”
(Paperback)
I am enjoying this book so much. Fern has written the story so well that I can really picture the cottage and village, and the characters, it's a joy to read. I'm only part way through, at the moment, so I'm looking forward to the rest of the book. I had been disappointed with her first novel "New Beginnings". For me, I couldn't get latched onto the story, until nearly the end, but I didn't want to give a negative review about her first book. I have read The Holiday Home, and it was great, and I also have Fern's latest hardback "A Seaside Affair", which I'm sure will not disappoint.
“My first Fern”
(Paperback)
This is the first book of Ferns I have read and pleasantly surprised easy good fun reading and I could imagine the beautiful seaside views !
“Surprised!”
(Hardback)
Well if you had asked me a few weeks ago if I would read a book by Fern Britton the answer would have been a no! However, the sun was shining and it seemed like the perfect book to select. So I have just read and enjoyed Hidden Treasures. Enjoyed the first part of the book slightly more than the second part. The book is a good light hearted holiday read that will make you smile as you read it!
