Icon is another classic from the vintage cellar of Frederick Forsyth. The political thriller genre is owned by FF. Icon is a superb story about British and American espionage, where ex CIA agent Jason Monk goes back to Russia in an attempt to disrupt a politician’s campaign, which seems likely to end in victory, a result that could spell disaster for Russia and the world. Well written is an understatement. Freddy drags you in and keeps you there. 100% recommend. RIP Frederick Forsyth.
