Listening to Julia Paul on Heart and Soul about Armenia prompted me to retrieve this book my late father had bought from Mind for 50p and recommended to me, repeatedly. Loved it second time round, on so many levels, even more.

A good, if slightly uneven, read. It starts off as a very amusing story of a man in a dead end job working for a publisher of self help books, but ends up as a story of a self-made man and his wealth, which the protagonist appears to have inherited. Will he do anything to keep the money? Take a wild and crazy guess. A good fun read.
