“Encapsulates our collective confrontation with uncertainty”
(Paperback)
Zadie has managed an impossible task of encapsulating a collective experience we are all having.
She offers her acute observations of how we adapted to uncertainty via the catalyst a pandemic. Her writing, as ever, is intimate and immediate. All royalties for this novel will go to two worthy charities. I highly recommend this book.
“2020”
(Paperback)
So I had no expectations when I bought this, but the proceeds go to charity and we have all had such a 2020 - a memorable year for so many reasons - not that many being joyful.
Loved the reference to Barnard Castle / Durham within.
It was a prefect commute size to read, does anyone still commute?
Happy to recommend.
