2 player bliss that is perfect for for any setting. In Jaipur, players take turns drafting goods cards from the middle row in order to sell groups of them for points. Each good has a stack of points tokens that are worth less the more that are taken. You’ll want to get your trades done quickly to get the best tokens but collect enough cards to get a good bonus tile with your trade. Once three goods stacks are depleted the round ends and the player with the most points wins that round. The first player to win 2 out of 3 rounds wins the game. Honestly I can not think of a better two player game than Jaipur. The timing of your card drafting and selling are crucial and there is an element of push your luck play as you attempt to build the best trades before your opponent does. Hoarding camel cards will mean you can gain more goods later but you’ll have to balance that with actually gaining the goods you need before your opponent. Plays in 30 mins max and is perfect for any setting (we mostly play it in the pub!) With wonderful art work and solid game play Jaipur is, in my humble opinion, the perfect 2 player game.
