“Rheumatism's Bane”
(Paperback)
Great story well thought out and written. but soo heavy to hold, thank god it wasn't an hardback. Perhaps printed to two halves (like Penguin's War and Peace
“The longer the better! Fantastic book.”
(Paperback)
A brilliant installment in the series. I'll be honest - I love this book more for the relationships being explored rather than the actual case at hand (the case is wrapped up really well, however I did feel lost at times throughout ... probably by design)! Bring on Troubled Blood!
“Lethal White”
(Paperback)
I'm a slow reader, but just couldn't put the book down. Absolutely addicted. Currently, thoroughly enjoying the following 'episode'
“Lived up to expectations”
(Paperback)
I got late to Cormoran Strike and read the lot in a bit of a binge. I love them but I actually think this was my favourite. The Silkworm was a bit dark, but the relationships really blossom in this one and it's the best story of the four. Looking forward to number 5. JK can do now wrong in my book.
“Complex.”
(Paperback)
This was the first Galbraith novel I have read; this was after reading a number of reviews of the earlier books. It is complex to say the least and as a reader you need to keep your wits about you otherwise you will loose the plot lines that weave through the whole book. But once picked up you are compelled to keep reading so to know what comes next. trying to guess the conclusion is one that most will get wrong. I throughly enjoyed and will be reading more. My wife is now reading "what have I got into!"
