Reviews: Lockdown (37)
“Fantastic Auther”
(Paperback)
This was a great book with twists and turns. I enjoyed it very much
“A great read”
(Paperback)
Peter May never fails to disappoint as a writer - he draws such great characters, even though they are flawed you find yourself rooting for them. When reading this book it's amazing to realise it was written 15 years ago, but rejected by his publishers as being "too unrealistic". Yet here we are in the middle of just such a situation and he got so much of it right.
Well worth a read!
“Peter May - Lockdown”
(Paperback)
How uncanny! He wrote this 15 years ago. Writing with his usual flair! Excellent!
“Time appropriate but very different”
(Paperback)
Very fast paced book as you'd expect for a murder that needs to be solved in less than a day! Definitely a page turner. I wondered whether it might become a series but suspect not.
Didnt like the first Enzio book so didnt read more of them. Loved this
“Lockdown”
(Paperback)
I bought this book due to the present climate we find ourselves in with Covid-19. The similarities were uncanny. The book itself was a really good read and once I started it I couldn’t put it down.
