an incredible story showing the true strength of mind of a royal marine, once i started to read this i could not put it down! honestly one of the best books ive ever read. would definately recommend.

hi i have read the book and its great,i have just recurrently done adventure day for help 4 heroes and had the great pleasure of meeting mark at the cheque presution and he is a great guy,,to really understand what the man do and go through is hard,it all well and good thinking u know,but marks book give u a bit more and u understand more.mark is a very nice and up beat man and funny,i cried like a baby through some of the pages its really heart felt and would past it to anyone i read its a must have

Brilliant book with true life bravery. Really humbling and very inspirational. You feel as if you are taking every step with him on his road to recovery. Shows you what character Royal marines have. True grit and determination to keep going. Whatever is thrown at them... Literally. A must read....
