This book is well worth purchasing. It details the history of electric railways in Merseyside. The range of good colour pictures is excellent and the reproduction is good. The captions are informative and extensive without spoiling the pictures. The layout works well. My only monor criticsm would be that a few detailed maps of complex areas such as Bidston would have been useful.
