A captivating read with amazingly intricate details and an especially imaginative use of a spatula. I had to read it twice to appreciate it all. Await the anticipated follow-up with interest.

I really enjoyed this book, it’s a great story that crosses time and toast. It made me laugh out loud and I’m looking forward to seeing what Milton may get upto next.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, a great blend of sci-fi, fantasy and comedy. Brian's quirky and satirical take on modern society frequently had me chuckling, and I love the way he integrated the biblical account of creation, the Garden of Eden and the forces of evil into the plot. Lots of fun.....and I look forward to a sequel.

If you like supernatural fiction, this is the book for you!! Or even if you just enjoy a good laugh. Had me hooked early on. The author has made sure you must get to the next chapter....and the next. Such a great array of different characters I really enjoyed getting to know, but not too many that it's difficult to follow. The laugh out loud comedy is just one of the many emotions this book invokes, for 'end of the world' potential! An immersive read. Highly recommended! Definitely one I will keep coming back to.
