I made a large order for UK versions of PD's books (so I will be repeating my complaints on a few different books). My copy of this book was beat up/damaged. I was really sad when I reached out to Customer Service (with proof of the damages to nearly all of my PD books) showing how bad of a state this book was in. The representative responded to some degree that I should be able to smooth out the damages on my own. I feel that if a book is listed as New, then it should arrive as New. I do reside in the U.S. so, the conversion rate can be expensive for me and making a return very costly where I would just end up losing money simply to ship it back. Please keep in mind, this book is amazing. I am a massive fan of Penelope Douglas's work. I am just hoping by sharing my experience maybe it can help prevent this for future purchases. The fault lies with how this book was stored and with the damage it was in, I don't believe that this book should have been packaged nor sold as "New".
