“The murderbot effect”
(Hardback)
This series of books just keeps getting better and better, the murderbot is a seriously mean dude with a soft spot for his humans.
His ability to generally deliver mayhem and multiple carnage should not be underestimated, nor should his continuous habit of stoping bullets with his torso be ignored.
The disgust he feels when the biological bits start leaking after a substantial gun fight and brutal hands on self offence are hilarious. It is no good I want a murderbot to be on my side too.
These are great stories and should be read in order, when an AI ships mind and the cyborg murderbot fail out it is hilarious only; an AI and a cyborg could sulk at such speed.
These stories are fast becoming my run to books when I need a mood lift. Murderbot is a first rate character with a profound distrust and dislike of humans unless of course if you're one of his pet humans.
