'No Regrets' is being described as perfect for fans of 'Bridget Jones' Diary'. I enjoyed reading 'Bridget Jones' Diary' and so I thought that I would give 'No Regrets' a whirl. I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'No Regrets' but more about that in a bit. I can't honestly say that I warmed to any of the main characters but that's ok as it meant that I didn't favour one over the other. I have to admit that in some way each of the three main ladies irritated me a fair bit and at times I wanted to slap them with a wet fish or shake them by their shoulders. Although I didn't take to the main characters, I didn't dislike them either. Oh my word, 'No Regrets' wasn't exactly the book that I thought it would be. I mean that in the nicest possible way. I was drawn into this story from the start and I found that I just couldn't put the book down for any length of time. When I started to read 'No Regrets' in no way did I think that I wouldn't be moving from my reading seat for the length of the book. I read it in one big reading binge. I loved the mix of humour and drama within this book. 'No Regrets' was a cracking read which certainly helped to distract me from the pain I was in. 'No Regrets' is well written. The author certainly knows how to grab your attention from the start and then she takes you on one sassy, sexy and fun journey through the lives of the three main ladies. Tabitha's writing style is easy to get used to an easy to get along with. In fact reading 'No Regrets' felt more like a chat between friends than reading an actual book. I hope that makes sense. I really felt as though I was part of the story, which is down to Tabitha's superb storytelling. 'No Regrets' is the perfect escapist read, which is ideal for reading on your holiday or distracting you from all the talk of COVID19. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed 'No Regrets' and I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. I will be reading more of Tabitha's work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

We are all missing our 'girls nights out' and this is it in paperback. Three good friends share the ups and downs of life in 'No Regrets.' You will get to know the characters and relate to the dilemmas they face in their 40's but with some unexpected outcomes! You will laugh, wince and shake your head during their journey but most of all you will enjoy the chance to escape from everyday (Corona news filled) life. Buy and read this book. You will not Regret it.

I enjoyed this book. It’s funny and light hearted. It made me snigger a good few times. With these troubled times we find ourselves in this book is a good one to read. I could also associate with all of the characters as well, as they are all getting to the end of their 30’s. It reminded me of my friends and I at that age. I absolutely love the cover of this book as well. It’s so bright and cheerful. Meet Stella, Dixie and Ana. They have been best friends for a very long time. We meet them as they are all approaching the big four zero. Where they all realise that they aren’t really in the places they expected to be in. Stella is a stay at home mother, She spends most of her time running around after her family. Wishing she was more like the other mum’s who seem to manage family life effortlessly. Her husband has made her get rid of the paid help and she is struggling even more than she did before. Stella however has other ideas about getting new help, she’s actually thinking of pinching someone’s nanny. Along with hopes of going back to work and being a bit more glanderous. One day when she’s at the park with the kids. She becomes friends with Coco a young nanny. She finds Coco a breath of fresh air and she’s also introducing Stella to some new experiences. Ana is in a relationship with the most boring man, but on paper he is just the sort of man to settle down with. He has a decent job, he’s reliable, caring and not bad looking. Ana has decided that now is the time to start trying for a family as she’s so desperate for a baby. Ana has also decided that she wants to speed up the process, so they pay to go and see a private specialist. Just to make sure everything is working. It turns out that Rex is the one that is going to cause them problems in conceiving. So they pay for one round of fertility treatment. Which then starts making Ana wonder if she really is with the right man. Due to her having fertility injections her hormones are all over the place. So no matter what Rex does she finds him irritating and he constantly gets her back up. Which in turn Makes her think about Joel her now famous ex boyfriend. Everywhere she goes his music is playing or he’s on the TV, she can’t get away from him and their past. Dixie is the wild a child of the bunch. She’s single has a good job. She gets to travel with her job too, as she manages her bosses properties which are all over the place. She’s also on Tinder and has numerous one night stands and has no intentions of stopping any time soon, as she’s not going to ever get married. On one particular flight to New York Dixie gets upgraded on her flight and ends up with her cabin near a really cute guy. She ends up getting a bit tipsy and ends up telling him things that she never tells anyone. She total forgets to update he Tinder account with new photos of herself. So she could hook up with some cute New York guys. Dixie doesn’t tell the girls anything about Freddie the next time she meets up with them as he has her in a spin. Which has never happened to her before. It’s like she is under his spell. When she does mention him though she ends up asking the girls over to the Hamptons to celebrate Freddie’s Birthday. Where things don’t go quite as expected. Stella gets blind drunk and tells them what is really going on in her life. Dixie and Freddie set up Ana with her famous ex, which lead to unexpected things. Then the rich wives of Freddie’s friends pull a fast one on Dixie and everything comes tumbling down. Will the girls get their lives back on track? They may do eventually with some great hilarity along the way. If you need a good laugh and some escape then this book is for you.

This is such an easy read and I found myself speeding through. It's the perfect book to pick up for a holiday (admittedly non-existent holiday thanks to Covid-19). They say that you’ll be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did, and for lifelong friends, Stella, Anna and Dixie this couldn’t be more true. They’ve all lived fulfilling lives – Stella had a dream career as a magazine editor and is now married with two children, Dixie married young and now lives the glamorous life of a bachelorette since her divorce, and Anna has spent her life finding the optimal partner, who she’s found in Rex, and is now trying for a baby. All three should be happy right? Wrong! Each feels that something is missing from their lives and when a series of opportunities present themselves the girls decide that it’s time for no more regrets… No Regrets by Tabitha Webb is raunchy, comical and real, making it an upbeat read! I enjoyed this far more than I thought I would, what with my go-to genre’s being YA Fiction or Fantasy, but I received an ARC at the Harper Collins Showcase in February and when they released the call for the blog tour I thought why not! Comprised of alternative chapters from all three pov’s, we experience everyone's story from the third person narrative which creates an omniscient feeling. Webb uses the varied pov to drive the plot forward, which captures your intrigue and keeps you turning the page. While I preferred some story-arc’s over others, each was entertaining and charming and were woven together effortlessly. What I admired most was that the characters are flawed and do make mistakes, just as humans do, which makes them easier to connect with. They all emanate a warmth that instantly makes them loveable. Personally, Stella was my favourite - she is headstrong, independent and utterly hilarious! The ending felt a little unstable as we had all the story-arc's wrapped up in one chapter which left me feeling a little dizzy. While this is an obvious choice for the ending, I'd have preferred to title the ending chapters as "Bitches" rather than a specific character to make it clear all three are merging together. Nevertheless, the ending is beautiful and leaves you feeling content.

The story is about three friends, three women who are all at some kind of crossroads in their lives. The realisation that your life shouldn't be lived for others, and your pleasure and happiness shouldn't be structured around the needs of others either. Sometimes you have to be selfish to get what you need, as opposed to what other people think you want. Is Coco the forbidden fruit or is it a case of being drawn in by the beauty and lack of parallels. Does the thrill of something new give Stella a new lease on life or is it more about the stagnation providing the perfect opportunity for squashed emotions and previously buried attractions to rear their head? I didn't quite buy the friendship between Stella, Ana and Dixie, but if you sit back and ponder on it there is an element of truth in the more brutally honest element of their relationships. The characters are too singular and never quite manage to bridge the gap between page and reader or between themselves. Although the majority of the scenes have a basis in reality the story lacks the spark of authenticity that takes readers from fiction to empathy and recognising a part of themselves in the read. It's a bit explicit, now and again, when it comes to the sex scenes - just something to be aware of if you're not into a wee bit of horizontal tango, thrusting manhoods and moist girl caves awaiting said manhoods. The title more or less spells it out for readers. The characters don't give a flying frog and neither does Webb, which of course is part of the charm of this read, and I expect this won't be the last time we hear from this author.
