Reviews: Notorious (7)
“If you enjoy “Inside the worlds dangerous prisons” pick up Notorious to find out about Raphael Rowe”
(Paperback)
by Helen Logue
I was first introduced to Raphael Rowe through Netflix on his show “ Inside the worlds dangerous prisons.” Reading Notorious you gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Raphael Rowe. When you watch the Netflix program the viewer is left wondering what kind of prisoner was Raphael. Being a journalist he does not reveal his coping tactics but he always has a sense of empathy with the prisoners. Reading Notorious you find his upbringing and how he became a champion of social justice. You learn that in life you may go through things that may be designed to bring you down. You must have grit. You must have motivation to get through. If you are a fan of “Inside the worlds dangerous prisons” or his work with the BBC and other networks he was in, you will enjoy this books. You may end up questioning the injustices of the criminal system. And you may even want to become a change agent.
“Best Book Ever, well done Raphael!”
(Paperback)
by Theo Pyne
I've just finished reading it, and oh my gosh, its brilliant, your story is brilliant, you're brilliant. First of all, well done on fighting against your injustice, where so many people would have given up.. I just have so much admiration for you. I've read a lot of books, but yours is by far the one that has kept my interest the most when reading it. It's the best book I have ever read, and is one of two books that I will actually recommend to others. The part with Reggie Kray, when Ronnie passed away, really got to me, probably because I know what it's like to not be a ble to say a final goodbye to a very close loved one.. Also, your book has ignited a deeply hidden interest in interviewing people, which I wanted to do when I was younger, but then I guess I just got interested in different things. I think your story is movie material, I'd definitely watch that!
