At first I wondered why I bought Obsession - a book that seems to be about fame-hungry wannabes and reality TV (two of my pet hates). However, I was more than pleasantly surprised.It kind of hauls both subjects up by the boot strings and slaps them in the face.It's about a man who dreams of being famous, but has neither the talent or charm to accomplish it. As he gets more and more desperate, his grip on reality starts to lessen (and that's where the real fun starts).I didn't know whether to laugh or cry in the end.
