If I was purely going on illustrations, this book would be a 10/10 because they are so good! I love how the green and blue really popped on every page. The only thing that stopped this from being a top rated picture book for me was that I didn’t feel that the story flowed entirely - parts of it were brilliant and really entertaining but then there were bits that just didn’t quite make sense! That said, that nonsensical nature could really entertain the target audience of children, and so I am really looking forward to sharing it with the little ones in my life! I would love to see more books from Ben Sanders however as I did really enjoy this book and really loved the illustrations! Thank you to Little Tiger for a copy of this book.

The green and blue characters make for good illustrations throughout the book. The story is teaching us the value of friendship and not having to be the best or the biggest. The friendship should be enough!
