“Wow, just Wow!”

Well, I was so excited to read this book being a Dan Brown fan, and I have to say that the author didn't disappoint. The story was gripping, well written and I just love the character of Robert Langdon. After previous novels now in film format starring the lovely Tom Hanks, I actually visualise Tom as Robert whilst I am reading! I couldn't put this down, well done Dan, yet again a fantastic read. This gave my hours of enjoyment and although I did actually guess a few twists and turns, they were so cleverly done and I didn't actually realise until just before the reveal.

Another great read from Dan Brown. This book is a real page turner and the short chapters maintain the readers attention, as the easy to read, gripping tale unfolds. This is a thought provoking book which questions the Origin of time. Not only " Where do we come from ? " but also " Where are we going ? ". This story does not disappoint and the twists and turns are well executed. The book was well researched in respect to location and scientific background. Usual high standard from Dan Brown.

Origin, the latest instalment in Dan Brown's Robert Langdon series, is another thrilling dive into the recurring theme of science versus religion. In this novel, Langdon is invited to Spain by an old student-turned-friend to witness a groundbreaking discovery that addresses two of humanity’s biggest questions: "Where do we come from?" and "Where are we going?" However, when the event takes a dangerous turn, Langdon finds himself on the run, accompanied by none other than Ambra Vidal, the future queen of Spain. As with all of Dan Brown's Langdon novels, he’s paired with a strong female companion. This time, it’s Vidal—a beautiful, intelligent, and fiercely independent woman. I really enjoyed following her journey alongside Langdon in this story. For me, the most compelling aspect of Origin is the ongoing debate between religion and science. Brown presents this conflict in clever and thought-provoking ways, making it both highly relevant and deeply engaging. As someone who often wonders if these two forces can coexist, I found the novel’s exploration of the subject particularly fascinating. While The Da Vinci Code has always been my favourite in the series, I feel Origin is on par with it. What I really liked about this one is that there’s no film or TV adaptation (yet) to influence my experience of the book. That being said, I would love to see it adapted in the future. I was excited to dive into this latest instalment, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. From start to finish, I was completely hooked, unable to put it down. It has also left me eager for more, and I’ve heard rumours that Brown is working on another Langdon novel. I really hope that’s true, though it's been quite a while since Origin was published in 2017. I’m really enjoying Brown’s writing style—his detailed descriptions and short, punchy chapters make for a fast-paced, engaging read. This style has inspired me to explore some of his other books as well. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Origin and can’t believe the Robert Langdon series may be over for now. I’ve been captivated by each book, always eager to see what happens next, and it’s such a great feeling to discover a new favourite author.

Dan Brown has managed to maintain his high standard for research. Another gripping story woven around real locations with science fiction style features that could very well become fact in the near future. Look forward to his next book
