“Shocking”
(Paperback)
by Anita Wallas
This is a truly shocking exposé of a man in serious mental and physical decline for years. It’s packed with details of events and incidents which evidenced his poor health. Well researched and informed, the author documents numerous examples of Biden’s obvious health issues. I found the most shocking story was the one where he clearly failed to recognise his good friend of many years, Clooney. He was clearly stuck on repeat mode as he went round attendees at a fundraiser repeating the same short phrase and had to be reminded about Clooney’s identity. Watching him on tv in the run up to the last elections, I was astonished that he was deemed a potential president and candidate. It’s of serious concern ( or should be) that he was enabled by so many. Family, friends, media, White House staff at all levels. The cloak of secrecy was astonishing and to me, unforgivable. This man could have been in a position to start world wars and press nuclear buttons. It makes a farce if the electoral system. I have limited sympathy for the man and his health problems but to my mind, his enablers were culpable. I listened to the audio version, well narrated throughout by the author and whipped through it in a couple of sittings.

Found this book more convincing than I wanted to to be honest. Well researched and lots of people willing to go on the record.
