Cecilia keeps the pace and drama of Flawed throughout this book to reach a satisfying conclusion. Yet again I was caught up in the characters and the drama. A strong moral message resonates throughout and you are whisked along supporting Celestine North. An unassuming and accidental hero, her power grows in this book as does her confidence and it hooks you in. I was disappointed when I finished and felt lost about what to read next so for me that is always a sign the book was brilliant.

Fantastic conclusion to the story started in flawed. Tense and full of plot twists as you try and work out who exactly can be trusted. Highly recommended to all teens and adults!

The second part of this tense and clever story. The action quickly moves on from, "Flawed," to, "Perfect," where Celestine North must come to terms with what has happened to her. Life changing experiences and often very dark times, with family and close friends being affected as a result of her actions. She is determined and fiercely opinionated, however society often judges us and people can make mistakes. Is this the end of the story? We will have to wait and see..."When we embrace our flaws, that's when we can finally become PERFECT."

This conclusion to the Flawed duet brought a fast-paced narrative from start to finish. The story of Celestine remained engaging as she navigated not only being Flawed but also being an evader and the most prominent Flawed ever known. Sitting at the heart of the read is prejudice and this theme resonates with any contemporary society, so all readers should be able to identify. What is compelling about this particular society under The Guild rule is, what happens to society when compassion, empathy and kindness are only acceptable for the perfect. Celestine remained a mildly chaotic character, due to her age, her notoriety and need to mature quickly. Nevertheless, she had courage and strength. Carrick was much more prominent in PERFECT and I enjoyed having his character developed more and the relationship dynamics were compelling. The side characters were all strong and this wide cast of characters is what made this such a good read. Cecelia Ahern has demonstrated her YA and dystopian story-telling abilities with not only a first book but the ability to write a strong sequel. I will be looking out for similar work from her in the future.
