There wasn't anything in this book that I haven't seen online already in a number of blogs about homesteading and eco renovations etc. I suppose I expected more from the book about specific circumstances and also it would have been helpful to have suggestions for making things using repurposed items, because I don't see how it reduces carbon footprints to keep buying new building materials.
