This a very exciting and enjoyable novel. Very well written it introduces several characters that will reappear in the predator movie. It's a great book but there is a problem. Now it's a problem that I've noticed in other prequel movie books. When it comes to the main novelisation of the film the prequel tends to be completely ignored. That happens here. Major events are not mentioned or even hinted at in the movie novel. Its irritating but doesn't detract from the fact this is a great book. Incidentally alien covenant's prequel gets around this problem in two ways. Firstly is a completely separate story. Secondly it's written by the same author as the novelisation. A little collaboration between Moore and golden and Morris the authors of the predator would have helped matters.
