How lovely! So much nicer a memento than the tin money box full of toffee and the commemorative china mug I remember receiving as a school girl celebrating Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee way back in 1977. Full of interesting facts and information {much of it in bite size pieces which is just as well as it is very detailed} that, beautifully presented with fun illustrations, shared not only the Queen's personal history but also that of the the inventions, innovations and changes achieved in her lifetime, I have to say I found the book more interesting than the 7, 9 and {almost} 12 year olds who received it but what a wonderful keepsake; an amazing historical record that will hopefully be treasured.
