Katee Robert never disappoints. I absolutely loved this. Radiant Sin really ramps up the politics in the Dark Olympus world and, though it’s plenty spicy and romantic, those things take a bit of a back seat in comparison to the previous books in the series. I really enjoy the politics of this world and I think Katee did a great job of bringing in a lot of different players to this book (without it feeling overwhelming) and teasing what’s to come. I really loved Cassandra and Apollo. Cassandra is a total badass and Apollo was a perfect gentleman—until he wasn’t (in the best way.) I really liked their dynamic and their romance felt authentic. I think I would have liked a little more of them together, but I wouldn’t have wanted to give up anything else to get it. I always wish these books were longer because I don’t want them to end, and I would love another 500 pages of Cassandra being snarky and stubborn while Apollo is just desperately infatuated with her. I also really loved the plus-sized rep and, as always, everyone is queer which is my fave. As always, the writing and pacing were spot on. I think Katee explains everything really well in this series, without it ever feeling info-dumpy, and the book flew by. It had a really fun Knives Out vibe. I’m so excited to see where the threads that unraveled in Radiant Sin take us with the rest of the series. Is it Cruel Seduction time yet? Radiant sin is the fourth book in the ‘Dark Olympus ‘ series, and while I guess you could read them out of order, I wouldn’t suggest it, there is a plot line that runs throughout the book, things may be a little confusing if you read out of order. I wouldn’t call them retellings particularly, other than characters have the same name as Greek mythology, the story is wholly different. In this instalment we follow Cassandra and Apollo, and I would say this book was probably the most plot heavy of the series so far, it had a kind of murder mystery vibe to it. I love the ease in which I can sit and read a Katee Robert book from start to finish, they are a good time, always spicy and quite often a little funny. While this particular book wasn’t my favourite in the series so far, I will absolutely keep reading anything Katee Roberts comes out with - especially since book 9 is going to be Hera and Zeus!
