This is the first book in a series about Robbie Munro. He is a defence solicitor who has three big cases running at the same time, one including his brother whose father in law is a gangster. On top of all these cases he has a new receptionist who he would like to take on a date. He gets thwarted every time he tries to take her out including one time he takes her for a meal and gets arrested! Really enjoyed this book. The characters are very well written and the story moves along at a good pace. Another plus point is short chapter. I will be reading the next in the series.

Relatively Guilty by William H.S. McIntyre is the first book in the Best Defence series featuring Robbie Munro as the legal aid lawyer. Who has now gone out on his own as a defence lawyer and is well known in the court circuit. His brother Malkie returns back home after his wife is killed in a car crash and he walked free. Her gangland father is after revenge on him. Robbie is also committed to a murder case and then his own court case when he uses a counterfeit £50.00 note and now faces criminal proceedings and. Ours be disbarred. The book is entertaining and involves all sorts of criminal characters some of whom are guilty of various offences and others possibly are! Highly recommended
