The first few pages of this book had me very intrigued and interested from the beginning. Cressida Howard, who accidently overhears a conversation between her husband and a 'lover' after a phone call is made but the receiver isn't replaced. This phone call changes her life forever.She enlists help from a sister of a friend, Brioni,who can help her get evidence that her husband is having an affair. Brioni goes under cover and discovers that his infidelity is the least of Cressida's worries. The book turns very interesting when all the women in Lawrence's life are nearly poisoned and come under attack. The suspicion is then put on Cressida and some of Lawrence's dangerous business associates. Brioni finds out that someone is out to destroy Lawrence and his empire and will stop at nothing to completely destroy it and all the important people in his life too. A few peoples lives are in danger including his teenage daughter. The characters are very descriptive and relatable. The author cleverly makes you doubt the trust of some characters and there are alot of twists and turns along the way. A very intense and gripping thriller to read.

Remember My Name was a really great thriller, with so many twists! Cressida, the main character, hires Brioni to investigate her cheating husband; however, there is a LOT more to Laurence's lies than Cressida initially thought.. I really enjoyed the inclusion of Brioni and Alex in this story, and how all the characters came together as the explosive events happen. There are so many different aspects of Laurence's lies and manipulative ways, which keeps the reader interested throughout; I also feel the chapter lengths were ideal for keeping the reader hooked. The story-line involving Emily-Jane, Cressida & Laurence's daughter, was slightly predictable, but definitely a good read nevertheless. The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars was the fact that I found the ending slightly weak, and even confusing in places. It was definitely left on a slight cliffhanger, with Nina managing to get away again, however I feel that it somehow could have been more dramatic? However, I would still 100% recommend this book to anyone who loves a good thriller!

Before reading this book I was sceptical, purely because I have never been interested in any type of mystery/ thriller books however 3 days after opening WOW I am glad I read. Right from the beginning I was interested to see what events would unfold and I wondered which phone call lead to somebody being killed. I think because of this phrase you are able to get through the first section ( which doesn’t reveal much) but as soon as I began to understand this phenomenal book I quickly became hooked and wanted to know more. As you read further into the book, you will find more of the plot uncovered whilst discovering more about the character’s personalities and lives. You also go through a rollercoaster of dramatic twists and turns throughout this book. What I especially like about this book is that it all comes together at the end. In the final stages you begin to see all the peices fit together perfectly for the ‘mystery’ to be solved. An easy read which is impossible to put down; I would definitely recommend.

Having previously read the Dark Room by Sam Blake I was looking forward to getting a chance to read her new book, Remember My Name. Remember My Name begins with Cressida overhearing a phone call and discovering that her husband is cheating on her. However, as the story moves on and Cressida enlists a cyber security expert Brioni to help her collect evidence for a divorce, Cressida learns that there is a lot more going on than cheating. This was a well paced book with lots of twists and turns that let us see deeper into the hidden life of Cressida's husband. I thought the story was interesting and I enjoyed reading it but I never felt fully gripped. At times I struggled to piece together the different things that were happening and struggled to find it completely believable. Overall though I enjoyed the book and thought it was a good thriller.

She enlists the help of her friend’s sister, Brioni O’Brien, a security expert to get the proof she needs for a speedy divorce, but they soon find themselves in deep waters, much deeper than they expected... Remember my Name is an engrossing read full of twists and turns. Set in Ireland, the tale is told mainly through the eyes of Cressida and Brioni with the occasional contribution from Cressida’s seventeen-year-old daughter, Emily-Jane. These are strong, believable characters with a good sense of reality, unlike Laurence who has limited likeability. A really rewarding reading experience is contained within the pages as the women plot their way to success in the divorce courts. With comfortable pacing, the tenseness picks up considerably towards the end when everything comes to a head. It’s not obvious who is responsible for events and certain situations but the need to find out makes this a hard one to put down and the conclusion is exciting.
