“Remember my Namw”
(Paperback)
On the outside Cressida Howard`s life looks perfect. She has her own successful company , a wealthy husband, a lovely home and a daughter who she adores. But things are not always as good as they appear to be.
Despite having been given a posh name, Cressida had a pretty humble start in life. She was bullied at school, and a chance comment from one of her tormentors made her work hard at that school , giving her the opportunity to go to a better school with posher pupils. It was through a friend at her posh school that she met her husband Laurence and his wealthy family. They married very young and had their daughter soon after.
Over the next seventeen years ,Cressida often became suspicious that her husband had been having affairs when he acted suspiciously. This story starts when she over hears a phone conversation between Laurence and some mysterious woman. She has had enough by now and she sets out to find evidence so that she can divorce him. The evidence she uncovers makes her believe that there is more to this than just an affair. Then things really start to kick off when somebody gets murdered.

“Wow what a book!”
(Paperback)
Review time!
Wow! What a read! This is the first book I’ve read by Sam Blake and I have to say I’m now on the look out for her other books. This has been an incredible story from the first line which automatically captures your attention. This story provides a lot of detail about the characters and the setting, I feel like this should be the start of a series with how much character development there was during the story. This story is set in Ireland and starts with Cressida who should have hung up the phone instead of listening in to her husbands conversation with a woman. Remember my name keeps you guessing throughout! Some of the turns were easy to predict and I was just waiting for the characters to catch up but this didn’t take anything away from the story.
Remember my name follows a business which has been hacked and a woman who wants answers so asks for help in getting those but what she uncovers may not have been what she expected. As the story unfolds there’s a lot going on and different parts which all come together in the end.
This story is relatable and modern in terms of the references to the pandemic that we have all been living through and seeing businesses suffering. This story is told by many points of views which I love, to start with I got a little confused as to who’s point of view it was but as I got into the story it flowed a lot easier and you could tell instantly. There were twists and turns throughout the story. This story was easy to read, the writing style wasn’t over complicated and had me guessing how things would fit together Overall I give this book 5/5 rating.

“It Ticks All The Boxes For Me”
(Paperback)
Wow-what a book!
You rarely find a book that ticks all of the boxes of things that excite you; this is arguably one of the best thrillers out there.
It has murder, tech; it's fast-paced and references current affairs to make it relatable.
A thoroughly enjoyable read with twists and turns throughout - difficult to put down, and well worthy of 5 stars.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher Atlantic Books for an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
