“James Ryker to the rescue!”
(Paperback)
James Ryker to the rescue!
It’s the middle of summer in England, and James Ryker is once again reluctantly employed by the JIA (The Joint Intelligence Agency). I say reluctantly because Peter Winter, the Head of JIA, now only calls him when an incredibly difficult case arises and the latest case is going to prove to be almost impossible to solve.
If things had gone according to plan, extricating Clint Parker, a senior executive at a multinational bank and Yuri Yedlin – the outspoken frontman of an ultra-right-wing Israeli political group should have been straightforward. Unfortunately, things go shockingly wrong and both men are killed when they are kidnapped. Ryker must discover who is behind the abductions and killings.
Daisy Haan works for Bastian Fischer. A man of extraordinary wealth. His empire stretches across the entire world. Daisy’s role is to ensure that his home in the Black Forest is impenetrable, but four men break in and steal the codes for all of Fischer’s bitcoin wealth. Three are immediately captured and Daisy and a team are sent to hunt down the last member who managed to escape to France.
These two events, the kidnapping, and the robbery at Fischer’s home look like they have no connection to each other. Unfortunately for Ryker, Peter Winter makes it clear that there is no backup for Ryker. He’s on his own as there is a mole in JIA feeding information to the perpetrators.
James Ryker never fails to keep me reading way past my bedtime. Once I start reading the latest book in this fantastic series, I hibernate until I’ve reached the last page and am satisfied that no matter how battered Ryker might be, he’ll survive.
Thank you Rob Sinclair for always ensuring that I will lose sleep but come away in awe of your storylines.

“Fantastic!”
(Paperback)
This is a fantastic, highly paced, action packed thriller, which I loved and found very exciting. It was my first James Ryker book, but it won't be my last and I can't wait to read about him again soon!
The story starts with James Ryker trying to figure out what went wrong with a surveillance mission, where the key target got kidnapped. He gets embroiled in the case and the excitement never stops. I really enjoyed listening to how it all unfolded. The narrator of the book was great and I really enjoyed the way he portrayed the story.
“A great read”
(Paperback)
I’ve read the first Ryker book and thought the premise of this looked very much like my kind of read. I wasn’t wrong. The book started off well and just got better the more I read. The author has created such a likeable and believable character in this series and I was rooting for him from page one. When an operation Ryker is involved in goes wrong he wants to know why and starts investigating alone. And when someone he knows disappears things get very personal. I loved this book. Just loved it. It was action packed, fast paced, thrilling with many plot twists. Definitely my kind of read. This book can easily be read as a stand alone although I would like to read the ones I’ve missed at some point. A great read, this author never disappoints me
