On each page you'll find cities, famous people and animals alongside ancient river gods and mythical creatures such as the Backahasten - a rather unpleasant mythological river horse who would drown anyone who tried to ride it. The whole book is in the same style as the cover - quirky, bold, bright, very graphic and engaging. This is a fantastic book which will appeal to all ages, with so much to look at on every page, and I absolutely loved it.
