I was so impressed with the high quality of the photography in this book, I would have bought it for that alone. But the insights into the making of this film and the character adaptations were so interesting as well. Definitely worth a read, not only to be displayed proudly on your mantelpiece.

Packed with colour photos of it's star Taron Egerton, Elton, the director , and rest of the cast, it is a wonderful visual record. See behind the scenes, sense the warm relationships of the cast and crew and read their perspectives on their characters and of the production. Marvel at the amazing and brilliant costumes and the beautifully observed and penetrative portrayal of a musical icon. Whether you are an Elton Fan, a Taron Egerton fan, a fan of Rocketman, blown away by fantastical costume design, or perhaps all of the above, this is a great one for you.
