“Question the Truth about the pyramids”
(Paperback)
by Sarjan
Book was a great read. Who would have thought that a A simple beach pebble reveals how the mighty pyramids were built! This book questions some of today’s most trusted and revered theories: theories which have been in existence for hundreds, even thousands of years; and, unlike many books that only question, this unique work provides possible answers to some of the world’s greatest mysteries. I'd recommend to all!
“Please don't waste your money”
(Paperback)
by OldCofE
This book is based on a fallacy, that scientists' first method of guessing the age of the earth was to wonder "how long did it take that pebble beach to become a sandy beach". The idea of an old earth has never been derived in this way. And anyone with access to the internet can verify this for themselves. The author goes on to make a series or wild statements, none of which are backed up by the facts. The land/sea interace has been the subject of study and research for very many years, and the ideas the author puts forward (that sand grows into pebbles) just does not happen. An ongoing university study at Newhaven, not many miles from Brighton, demonstrates what has been found at very many sites throughout the world, that pebbles do erode to sand. Not that this is a great source of sand, most sand is made by the great rivers and deserts of the world. If you want to read a good scientific study into the age of the earth, or the development of beaches, there are many good books available, but this is not one of them.,
