Saving 6 is everything… painful, beautiful, and so deeply emotional that it stays with you long after you turn the last page. Chloe Walsh takes us back to Joey’s world, and his story? It hurts in the best way. His struggles, his resilience, his absolute devotion to Aoife, it all feels so real, so visceral, and so utterly heartbreaking. Joey Lynch is a character you just want to protect, but he’s also one you can’t help but admire. His journey is hard, full of demons he never deserved, but the way he fights, the way he loves? It’s next level. And Aoife - strong, patient, and unwavering in her belief in him - is the perfect match. Their relationship is intense, full of quiet moments that speak volumes, and chemistry that burns through the pages. Chloe Walsh writes angst like no one else, and Saving 6 is proof of that. If you loved Binding Thirteen and Keeping Thirteen, this one will wreck you in the best way possible. Absolute must-read!

Other absolutely heartbreaking read in the series but so compelling. Beautifully written with witty banter and devastating scenes. The only thing getting me through is knowing the outcome of Shannon and Johnny’s story and hoping the Joey and Aoife get to be happy together. I always find books about drugs a hard read but I’m so invested in the characters that, although difficult to read, it hasn’t stopped me from galloping through this book. A tiny cameo from Gibsy and Johnny was a fun nod to the series. And I even felt I got to know Shannon better in this story with even more backstory for all the characters, that connected more dots in the story and reasons for all the characters behaviour. Aoife and Joey are so different from Shannon and Johnny but their love is just as epic.
“I ate up every single moment, even the ones that broke my heart!!”

I mean am I surprised at how much I love this book? Not at all!!! I adored Joey and Aoife in Johnny and Shannon’s books, so to be able to see the start of their love I ate up every single moment, even the ones that broke my heart!! So all of this takes place before Johnny and Shannon even meet and I had thought I might not enjoy it cause you are in the past but I enjoyed this so much! Chloe wrote it so well and the chapters weren’t very long at all, so it made me feel like I flew right through this book!! Goodness gracious did Joey ever break my heart in this, seeing his pov and all the stuff he personally has gone through had me wanting to give him the biggest hug in the whole world!!! Aoife was literally so freaking cool and getting her backstory was the best thing ever!!! Her and Joey are absolutely without a doubt soulmates and I am in love with them!! But don’t even get me started on how this book ended.

I knew Joey and Aoife's books would be heartbreaking but nothing could have prepared me for how moving their story would be. This series just keeps getting better and better.
