Reviews: Shameless (1)
“Raw, brave and honest”
(Hardback)
I like Andrea McClean. She has always come across as honest and trustworthy, someone I could be friends with, so I downloaded her book from Audible and also requested a review copy from NetGalley. Everything makes sense now; I knew she had started her own business with her husband, but then it disappeared and then I saw her, on Instagram, heading to start a new life in Spain. I was intrigued. This book is raw, honest, sad and uplifting. It teaches us that life can change in an instant, but with resilience, painful honesty, humour and courage we can face the shame that we feel. The Audiobook, read by Andrea, is easy to listen to and was great while pottering around the house or walking the dog. The book was great, easy to read, and able to pause and reflect on the areas that will resonate with you. I recommend both. Thank you Andrea, I wish you well in Spain and look forward to seeing your adventures in the future.
