I loved loved this book omg it's going to be the biggest selling thriller of 2020 it's a must read book I didn't expect the ending I didn't see it coming at all.. I mean I'm still hating Bella I just can't get over what f****** horrible b**** SHE is I wanted to kill her and bury her but for a book to have that much effect on you shows what a great book it is The writing the story the characters everything was perfect about this book apart from that Nut Job Bella....

Ben was shattered when his long term girlfriend broke up with him. She got on so well with his friends & family & he'd imagined that it was happy ever after. Meeting the beautiful Bella raises his spirits. When she reveals she's pregnant very soon after they get together, it is a surprise. However Ben is a good guy & before you know it the pair are married. It is not long before Ben's family & friends are firmly edged out of the picture. Bella want him all to himself & gets very angry when she doesn't get her own way. The second part of the book is the events from Bella's point of view. There is a lot of repetition from part one but I found it quite interesting from another perspective so it didn't really bother me. Ben's life deteriorates rapidly. At times I did feel he was a bit of a wimp, but as I said he was one of the good guys. Bella on the other hand was one of the nastiest characters I've met in a while! This was a fantastic read & I just couldn't put it down. Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for letting me read & review this five star book.

Loved it! I read a lot of this genre and lately have been left a bit deflated but this got me out of that rut and had me gripped from the onset,. the book has two main narrators being Bella and Ben and you get to hear the same events twice but from both viewpoints along with sub characters which add some more to the story. The main twist came half way through which I hadn't guessed and you then see how this develops into a great story. This would make such a good tv mini series and I cant wait to read more from this author. Thank you NetGalley for this ARC

Whilst there are many psychological thrillers on the market, She is one that stands out as being authentic and cleverly written. Ben meets the beautiful Bella whilst he is getting over a break-up. She is stunning and he's bowled over. But things soon take a dark turn as she becomes increasingly controlling and isolates him from his family and friends. In part two we hear things from Bella's point of view and without giving away any spoilers, we realise just how dark and twisted she is. This is a well researched book, as the coercive control and violence increases and Ben's loved ones are left hurt and confused by his seeming indifference to them. The tension builds to a dramatic crescendo that will leave the reader on the edge of their seat. A must read for those who enjoy a psychological thriller.
