I love this book and have recently bought a copy as a birthday present for my friend who loved it as well. It is suitable only for lovers and owners of cats though as nobody else will understand and find it funny.

Perfect for anyone who has or has ever had a cat. Simon gets the characterists down to a T, from jumping on your chest in the middle of the night to constantly wanting to be fed, this book is the cat lover's dream.

This book was great! but I can see why the bad reviews..it is only funny if you have a cat, all my family members loved it!!! would recommend!

If you have yet to explore the wonderfull and bizarre "Simon's cat" on you tube i urge you to do so imiediately and once you have make sure that you purchase this book as it is just as funny. Being a cat lover i could not help but laugh at this hilarious creation and the similarities my own cat seems to posess to Simon's.

If the YouTube videos are mildly amusing (although very slow and boring at times), this book is incredibly boring. The realistic observation of a cat's attitude towards life and everything that cat owners might connect to when seeing the videos, here is completely lost to make space to trite and predictable, very unfunny jokes that many cartoon cats (famously, Garfield) have already done hundreds of times before. Avoid.
