I purchased 'Slime'as a gift for my 7 yr old stepson who is a bright, very active boy. He was excited to receive it and quickly became immersed on its text - where he found a hard to put down and very funny storyline, which he thoroughly enjoyed. So much so he has asked for other titles by the same author for his coming birthday. Great buy.

Reading this book was medieval torture. As my friend Finley so beautifully put it, this book lacks heart. Every David Walliams book has a message that makes the child think. This book has less heart than a jellyfish. I used to like David Walliams, but this book made him one of the worst. It is not one of his best, it is his worst. A fellow reviewer said they were so gripped by this slimy paper that they spent 72 HOURS reading it. Go outside. Play some games. DO NOT read this.
