Enthralling and Gripping Novel. Thoroughly enjoyable, wonderful story and beautifully written. First class, witty dialogue and prose. Absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this book. For some people, this novel will be an eye-opener too regarding physical abuse, alcoholism, poverty and drugs, snobbery and families who do not love their children, all of which are written about with the utmost insight, diligence and empathy; but also shining rays of light on the goodness and kindness of humanity outside of dysfunctional, unloving families. This novel would make a brilliant, edgy and drama filled film! Bravo Kate Hanney!
