Reviews: The Adultery Code (3)
“Compelling, unexpected.”
(Paperback)
by Jojo
I love this genre and I thought I had read most of the plots. I found this story different as, unlike most of the 'affair' books, it doesn't lead you down the path of blame or pity for either party involved. The build up to the intimacy is captivating....and the author leaves you with question that has hung in my head long after I finished reading.
“You'll be questioning yourself by the end of this delightful novella.”
(Paperback)
by Alison Howarth
We never really think we will ever get a chance to live our fantasy life. Even if the opportunity arose, would we take it or would we remain in our mundane but safe life. Sarah's decision to seize the day will draw empathy from some and disapproval from others. I suspect which one the reader feels will depend largely on their own life's experiences. This novella is a quite easy read but leaves long lasting and conflicting questions which the reader will spend some time searching to resolve.
“Great distraction for train journey.....”
(Paperback)
by jill halte
I was given this as an ebook and read it on a train journey from the midlands to Edinburgh which was ideal as at just 130 pages i was able to start and finish it on the train. I dont usually leave or read reviews as they can be subjective and I prefer to have my own opinions. This story really does put another angle on a very touchy subject, just be ready for the 'spicy' bit especially, if like me, you are reading it in a public place as i am sure my expressions could have been noticed. An engaging read and good luck to the author. I have given 4 stars simply because it is quite a short book.
