Reviews: The Divide (2)
“A good read”
(Paperback)
For some reason I had missed this book when I bought the authors other books. It didn't dissapoint and is up to the same standard as the Horse Whisperer and his other titles. I would happily reccommend it to other readers.
“The Divide”
(Paperback)
The books about a a girls body being found frozen in ice, and then it goes back to the trail of events that led her there. This book could easily be made into a film, the first chapter was like watching a film. If you after a crime novel this is not the book for you, the murder is the small part of the book, its about a family broken by a betrayal and the pain we put the people we love the most through. Each chapter concentrates on a specific character, while your reading about that character you warm to them, for example the young girl found dead her parents Sarah and Ben Cooper, when Sarah talks about her relationship with Ben at th start i didn't like Ben, but then when you get to know Ben visa versa. Its a bit like when you reason with yourself and think everyone else is wrong, you can understand why the characters feel like that, when you see the whole picture they are all really likeable characters. This is the first book I have read by Nicholas Evans and really enjoyed it, can't wait to read another one of his.
